Accurate information on what you can do to your house is priceless.

We have done our best to present guidance and information on our Website which is accurate, honest and understandable. We hope you find it helpful to gain enough understanding of Permitted Development Rights to want to buy our Guides. We want you to find our Guides useful for projects for your home.

We constantly review our Website to try and improve clarity, usability and presentation. We believe that the best way to encourage you to become a customer is to provide, in advance, as much insight as possible into how our 3D Guides can help you.

Our main limitation is that we cannot provide personal advice or answer queries on individual houses.

Exactly what can or cannot be done to any one particular, individual house can only be determined by a proper on-site survey by someone competent to advise you. It can then only be finally, legally confirmed by a Lawful Development Certificate. The examples shown in the Projects scenes in a 3D Guide are just that....examples of the 'plain vanilla' variety intended to demonstrate one of many design and style options which may be possible.

Guidance, not Gospel!

The guidance on our Website and in our 3D Guides is just that: it is guidance, not Gospel!

The only advice we give is that you should:

:  get specific advice for your particular house; and

:  obtain a Lawful Development Certificate for any major project on your house.

A Lawful Development Certificate is the only way to obtain cast-iron, water-tight legal confirmation that your proposed works are Permitted Development, and will be lawful, without obtaining an express permission from your local Council.

3D Guides: Downloads Only.

We only supply our Guides as Downloads. We cannot supply in any other way, form or format such as CD or DVD or ‘hard copy’ (you cannot print a moving image!). In the event that you lose your downloaded files (e.g. Hard drive crash, fire, flood, children on your computer!....) you can simply go to your account and download it again completely free of charge (subject to your account being maintained and the product still being available).

Caution. Something called an Article 4 Direction might affect your house and further limit your PD rights, although they are quite rare. Find out more about them here.
